I'm going to keep this short:

Its been one long week since headstart and the Aion release. I hope everyone is enjoying the game and despite some hard spots in leveling, keep going! The abyss is quite a interesting place not just for grinding, but for more roaming pvp!

Request: lets figure out how the rift system really works. My research is yielding conflicting info and I'm sure we got people that have quests that require rifting but we don't have a clue how it works.

Also, we need guildies to register, hop onto the forums, and do stuff. In the next 48 hours I'll be posting key information about how character stats, the equipment enchanting system, and various other things. If you need to be authed, PM in-game or yell at someone in legion-chat ( /L ) and we'll fix it.

A statement about recruiting: to the public, we are reviewing our recruitment plans, given that 99% of people are in a leveling state and we might change our stance. If you are interested in joining us, contact one of us in-game, or drop a app and we'll go from there.

Last, since we picked up more than 20k contribution points from the Abyss, its time to consider upgrading to the level 3 legion. The problem is the cost really: at level 28 I just ate a 100k bill to buy my skills. We need to split this cost as evenly as we can. The cost breakdown is in the forums, but I might have to update it to reflect on how many people can donate.

It will be either Rage or myself making a announcement.

Due to the cluster-*censor* of most all the servers' Asmo side getting locked up and some people not being able to make a asmo character, we had to make a emergency decision. We are switching to Elyos for the time being, until we look at the servers again tonight. We are advising all people to just lock their names on Elyos til otherwise.

What a mess...and that's a understatement. Can't be 100% on target for predictions...

Alright, RIP Nezekan as it could of been the fun server, but nooo NC Soft changed it. But, after a 90 minute meeting, we have come to a unified solution of rolling Asmodians and on the server Vaizel-US West. If you are part of the initial launch crew, register on the forums and we'll auth you accordingly.

Also, aiononline.com, the official site for US/EU Aion, has announced that for launch they are disabling GameGuard "for the moment, with research being looked into bringing it back." Now, it sounds like good news, but take it with a grain of confidence really. The community has been screaming "GET RID OF IT, LOOK AT WOW's SOLUTION" which is a valid argument. I think they realize the horrendius amount of tech support problems that did occur during their open beta and I think they may have to consider something else. We'll see as time goes.

In less than 12 hours is the Pre-Select to reserve your names and customize your characters, then Sunday is Headstart, and finally Tuesday its LIVE. Its been a long time waiting for a potentially worthy successor to WoW - we shall see this time with Aion. Will it not have the WAR/AOC curse or will it survive 6 months later climbing up?

Ninja Edit: The website and forums might get funky looking - I'm tweaking some settings. Trying to figure out why certain things are not working as intended.

Also! As of 11:34am PDT, there was a patch that looks like was trying to remove Gameguard and it may trip some Anti-Virus software - look at its location before hitting the Ignore Button. It'll be related to something in the Aion folder.

Alright, NC-Soft just declared Nezekan an Oceanic server with siege times being set for their zone as well, effectively killing that server. We are discussing alternatives as this time and we'll announce the final server selection ASAP, before Pre-Select day.

Open to ideas and a good reason, but at this point, anywhere looks good.

Hello all, this is Kaiyoko, Rage's website admin monkey. As you can see here, we are getting things setup and prepared for Aion's launch. Open Beta has ended and Pre-selection + headstart start very soon.

If you have been directed here, please register for the forums and contact Rage or myself to get you authed. Also, get onto our Ventrilo as well. To get ventrilo, go <a href="http://www.ventrilo.com">here</a> and acquire this program in 32bit or 64bit; it does require a working mic.

Once the game has gone live on headstart, we will announce recruitment needs. Other than that, more work to the site I go!
