Alright, RIP Nezekan as it could of been the fun server, but nooo NC Soft changed it. But, after a 90 minute meeting, we have come to a unified solution of rolling Asmodians and on the server Vaizel-US West. Also, aiononline.com, the official site for US/EU Aion, has announced that for launch they are disabling GameGuard "for the moment, with research being looked into bringing it back." Now, it sounds like good news, but take it with a grain of confidence really. The community has been screaming "GET RID OF IT, LOOK AT WOW's SOLUTION" which is a valid argument. I think they realize the horrendius amount of tech support problems that did occur during their open beta and I think they may have to consider something else. We'll see as time goes.

In less than 12 hours is the Pre-Select to reserve your names and customize your characters, then Sunday is Headstart, and finally Tuesday its LIVE. Its been a long time waiting for a potentially worthy successor to WoW - we shall see this time with Aion. Will it not have the WAR/AOC curse or will it survive 6 months later climbing up?

Also! As of 11:34am PDT, there was a patch that looks like was trying to remove Gameguard and it may trip some Anti-Virus software - look at its location before hitting the Ignore Button. It'll be related to something in the Aion folder.
